Meet Ish

I started building over 20 years ago initially as a side projects to my normal 9 to 5 job at NZ Defence. I started off with buying, renovating and selling the house. Very quickly I realized that that this is my passion so in 2016 I gave up my day job and opened my business Vert Construction Ltd and started building full time.

I am property investor and developer. I work a lot on our own property developments and therefore have extensive experience in dealing with architects, engineers and councils. I bring that knowledge with me to help customers with their consent application to dealing with council.

I have experience in subdivisions, to relocatables to multi-complex builds and many complex renovations and extensions.

My focuses is on quality building rather than quantity and have no desire to become big group home builders but to provide outstanding custom build service and advice and workmanship to our valued clients. I am also qualified licensed building Practitioner and a Registered Master builder.

I also believe in giving back to community and for good courses and am heavily involved with charity work such as Fostering Kids NZ, Special Children’s Christmas Party and Life Flight Trust to name a few. I also support a low decile school kids in my birth country, Fiji.

  It is rare to find a builder of Ishwar’s quality these days.
He is one in a “million”!
The Recladding work plus other jobs were completed to a high standard.Ishwar went the extra mile and gave me total customer satisfaction. NoThing was too much trouble.
Ishwar is a very tidy worker who leaves the area clean at the end of each day.
I would definitely use Vert Construction again and highly recommend him.

  I had a full kitchen and laundry renovation. It also involved removal of old vinyl flooring and restoration of the matai timber floor.  Ish was very professional and kept me informed throughout the whole process from start to finish. I was extremely happy with the result and it has exceeded my expectations. Ish and his team were a pleasure to have at the house and always kept the work area clean and tidy.   We just finished our house renovation - adding a master bedroom with ensuite and a spare room downstairs. Ish and his team at Vert Construction are like heaven sent to us. They answered our call when we were looking for a builder who will take on our project. This was our very first house reno project so we didn't have much experience and had the basic knowledge of challenges. Ish and his team did such an amazing job that they never let us feel worried or anxious. Their passion, positivity and dedication is second to none. I appreciate and respect Ish's honesty, transparency, skill and knowledge. He told us when something is wrong and gave us sensible advise and practical suggestions. The whole team made us feel safe in the duration of the renovation. My kids enjoyed their company. They are very respectful of our space and I appreciate their punctuality and politeness.
